About Our Benefit Events

Our series of annual benefit dinners support our work around the world.

The Facing History community – teachers, parents, students, staff, donors, and others - comes together to highlight, celebrate, and reflect upon the key work the organization carries out in cities and towns, in the classroom, with teachers, and with students. Past keynote speakers include Pulitzer Prize-winning author Samantha Power, actor and human rights activist Don Cheadle, and Dr. Terrence Roberts of the Little Rock Nine.

At the heart of the Facing History mission is a commitment to students, and for that reason the dinners always highlight at least one student speaker as well.
