	18 in '08 35 minutes, DVD source: 18 in 08 This nonpartisan video, conceived of by a former Facing History student, encourages young people to vote and demonstrates the effects young people can have on public policy. It includes interviews with politicians and activists, as well as a short history of the evolution of voting rights and how they came to be extended to those 18 years of age or older.
	A Boy of Old Prague by Sulamith Ish-Kishor (Dover Publications) Tomas, a young boy living in the 1500's, has been taught to be suspicious and even hateful of Jews. His beliefs are challenged when he must confront them in the ghetto. See pages 294-297 of the Holocaust and Human Behavior resource book for a discussion of this novel.

In this documentary, Jane Elliott meets with her class to talk about the classroom experiment about discrimination she performed 15 years earlier and the effects it had on their lives. In addition, Jane Elliott is seen giving this lesson to employees of the Iowa prison system.

	A Day in Warsaw 10 minutes Source: The National Center for Jewish Film Part of the video montage Jews of Poland, this short documentary captures the spirit of Jewish life in pre-World War II Warsaw. Narrated in Yiddish with English subtitles, it presents the viewer with important images of daily life in Jewish Warsaw as it was before the Nazi invasion.
	A Discussion with Elie Wiesel 30 minutes, color Source: Facing History and Ourselves Facing History and Ourselves students from Chicago area high schools share their thoughts and experiences as part of a panel discussion with Nobel Peace Prize winner and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel. 	A Gathering of Heroes: Reflections on Rage and Responsibility by Gregory Alan-Williams (Academy Press) Gregory Alan-Williams talks about rescuing a Japanese-American man who was being beaten during the L.A. riots in 1992, places this story against the backdrop of his own life as an African-American man who has grappled with the complexities of violence and power. He recalls his experiences with racism, as well as his own violent behavior in the Marines. He also offers insight into the meaning of rage, the larger implications of the L.A. riots, and the obligations we all have as citizens to minimize the violence in our society.

	A Jew is Not One Thing 28 minutes Source: Out of print This short film explores the nature of Jewish identity in contemporary society and raises questions about the personal nature of identity. Profiled are religious and secular Jews, ardent Zionists, and Jews committed to life in the Diaspora. This pluralistic view embraces the complexity and contradiction inherent in a diverse community.
