Publications

PublicationsWe offer two types of publications. Our Resource Books are our core publications. They provide a meaningful-yet flexible-structure for examining complex events and ideas. Our Study Guides accompany books and other multimedia resources used to teach lessons of identity, membership in society, and the legacies of history and prejudice.

Our Making History Series is a collection of case studies that are part of the Choosing to Participate initiative at Facing History and Ourselves. This initiative illustrates how citizens as individuals and groups across the world can choose to make a positive difference in society. Each case study highlights the challenges and legacies of people who have struggled to promote human dignity, protect human rights, and cultivate and sustain democratic values.
